ELITE™ Series Outdoor Gas Fireplace donated by Lennox Hearth Products creates graceful focal point for alfresco entertaining.
Orange, CA. (May 29, 2009) – When the principles of Design Details were tasked with bringing an outdoor living space to reality for the 2009 Pasadena Showcase House of Design, they knew they wanted the ease and pleasure of a ventless outdoor gas fireplace to enhance the space formerly occupied by a firepit.
“We needed an eco-friendly firebox to work in this design and the Elite™ Series has a wonderful, weather-resistant stainless steel front face, top and bottom, and a beautifully detailed charred oak log set that looks like real stacked wood,” said Karen Tandy, of Design Details in Studio City. “It really presents the perfect mix of casual elegance that is suggested in the furnishings and layout of the entire space.”
“The louverless design of the 42-inch screened opening provides an exceptional full view of the fire, which is delivered via an enclosed pan tube and hidden burner ports that deliver 17-inch dancing flames with a deep red glow for the ultimate in fire realism. Battery backed-up intermittent ignition ensures reliable operation — even during power failure.
A maximum 50,000-BTU natural gas input can be controlled through a turn-down valve for precise flame height and heat. Large stainless steel fire grate complements the overall appearance and provides durability.
“The louverless design is clearly the trend in the industry,” said Robert Dischner, director of marketing for Lennox Hearth Products. “The Elite Outdoor fireplace is both simple and stylish and works beautifully in this arrangement. Lennox Hearth Products is pleased to partner with the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts and congratulates the group on its extraordinary 61 years of philanthropy to the Southern California arts community.”
