ATLANTA (February 23, 2005) – In response to restrictions on wood-burning and stringent new air quality standards, Lennox Hearth Products (LHP) introduces its largest EPA II approved fireplace to date, the High-Efficiency, Wood-Burning Villa Vista™ Fireplace.
The latest addition to the Dave Lennox Signature Collection, the Villa Vista is on display at the 2005 Hearth, Patio & Barbecue EXPO in Booth #113. It features the largest fire view in its category and can heat up to 2,500 square feet with a powerful and efficient 70,000 Btu catalytic combustion burner.
“Wood-burning restrictions or bans in certain parts of the country limit the amount of particulates that can be emitted into the air by residential fireplaces,” says Lisa Burkhart, Senior Product Manager, LHP. “The Villa Vista meets all environmental standards for wood-burning and provides builders with a new, bigger fireplace option for larger, custom homes that require additional heating.”
The Villa Vista delivers 72% heating efficiency, and can be connected to other rooms for distributed heating. This fireplace produces its heat while burning very little wood– another environmental benefit – and the unit is maintenance free and easy-to-operate.
A unique, single-pane door, available in 24K gold-plated or black trim, frames the Villa Vista’s spacious herringbone brick refractory. A popular flush-face front is also available for a more streamlined, authentic masonry style.
